The Manchester Burns Advisory Group (MBAG) has now been reviewed.

Meetings are held in the Burns Unit Seminar room, East Entrance, Wythenshawe Hospital.

Manchester Burns Advisory Group offers an informal meeting place for burns survivors and their loved ones. It was set up by the team at the burns unit at Wythenshawe Hospital, we meet once every three months (see the Events Page for meeting details). Each meeting a guest speaker shares their knowledge with us, we ask a few questions, then we chat over refreshments. The whole thing lasts about an hour and is a valuable source of information, advice and support for burns survivors, their families and friends.

Everyone is welcome to come.

Some of the subjects covered at the meetings have included:  Advances in plastic surgery, pain relief, camouflage make up, body image and social needs

Also we'd love some new faces in our group so please contact us and/or come to our monthly gathering.
